That was CLASSIC. Timing couldn't have been better. He was right on with his response without delay. Was a great way to end the night laughing.

Here's the info Toyman posted:

I have the route planned out now and changed from last year. It will be about a 4 hour run figuring about 1/2 hour or so spent in Hell getting ice crean cones and looking at the old hearst car show. We will travel about 135 miles through back roads and curves....all paved.

We start at the Park & Ride lot just north of exit 141 on I-94 in Jackson, MI at 10:30 AM on Saturday September 20, 2008. We will end at Tomato Brothers restaurant just west of Howell, MI on Grand River for food, beer, talk, etc. about 2:30 PM (to beat the crouds).

Toyman,

We will try to make it on this run to Hell. The only thing that might stop us is if our grandson's birthday party is that day (won't know until the beginning of the month).

Sorry folks, due to the early dinner at Tomato Brothers I Won't be able to join you as I'll be watching Sparty pound Notre Dame for the 7th out of 8 meetings. Enjoy the ride!

This is looking more and more like a go for me... no UofM football game, and no autox event that weekend.

Marie: No production date, yet! Should have it early this week. Then will probably be another three weeks before delivery. That puts me at or past the Hell run and that's if everything goes quickly. I think they move sold cars ahead in production? I'm not going to like being Solsticeless for a while. You all can count on nice weather for a while!!!

It doesn't look like my girlfriend will be able to attend on that weekend.. so if you need / want to ride along.. I might have a seat.

Well I counted my chickens before they hatched. Was all arrange to meet lady buying my car on Tuesday and she called last night with a lame excuse why she couldn't buy. So, I still have my car, with a new one ordered, and if it is still here on the 20th, we will be at the Hell cruise. Heck I could have my choice of cars to drive if the new one was produced.
rlhammon- Thanks for the ride offer!

I sure wish that I could make that trip though HELL. I haven't been there in years. Oh well, maybe next year when I come up to visit the family I'll take a drive over there. Then when I get back down here to NC. I can tell these folks that my SOL has been through HELL.
