I would love to attend, but the only day I have free on either one of those weekends is Sunday the 8th. Would you be opposed to doing a Sunday run?
I have Sunday conflicts, doesn't mean we can't, but I'd rather have the first one on a Sat

Here's the tally to date, note 8 people can make the 6/7 date so far. We'll decide by the end of the week. I think there's a Bob Evans at that exit which would make a good meeting place. Anyone who wants breakfast out can get there early. I suggest we plan a route putting us in a town with a fast food or other resuraunt at lunch time. If anyone has alternative ideas, let me know.

This comment may be unwanted, and may even be incorrect, so I will apologize for it in advance of making it. You also may already be doing it, and I just can't see it in this thread.
Route design by committee is difficult at best. Route design on the fly with more than 2 or 3 cars may well be impossible. It certainly won't be efficient. I suggest that someone with knowledge of the area step up and plan a route. Typically what works best is an hour or so to a rest break at a service station / convenience store, then another hour or so to a lunch destination. Some runs end there, others go longer. The one we did Sunday took almost 6 hours.
Once a basic route is planned it can be presented for adjustment. Even once it is underway it can be changed if circumstances require it. Most people won't suggest changes unless they know of a particular problem, so the original plan will probably be what is followed. Keep in mind that turning several cars around after a turn is missed is not usually an easy task. I experienced this yesterday because i wasn't familiar enough with part of my route.
I do not claim to be an expert at run planning, but I have done several, and the first ones didn't go so well because I did not follow this advice. Your results may vary.

I appreciate the advice, In fact I've been working on a route and will announce it soon. Some of the roads I traveled last year. What I don't know is detour's etc. and I'm located way north of the better SW Ohio roads. Stay tuned
