My thanks to Ron and Dave as well. I only spent the middle third of the run with the group, but it was good to see people I already knew and to meet a few new ones.
I had plotted the run with my Garmin Mapsource software, based on the posted run notes, then loaded the route into my GPS. The route worked perfectly, which was especially useful during the first third of the run, when I was chasing down the group after my late arrival.
While a run cannot be successfully planned without test-driving it, (Right, Glenn ?) my experience with this run, and the experience John and Glenn had at the SEM, have demonstrated that with a programmed GPS a run can be successfully navigated on the first try.

captain : OK now that we all had a great time ,I think the time has come to decide on a name and let the fun begin
I would keep (actually revive) OVK, for Ohio Valley Kappa. I think a name should be specific to its area, and that is about as descriptive as it gets. On the other hand, and most of the others suggested yesterday were all right too.

The forum cannot superscript. So TS3 is the best it gets.
Lets make a list of names and vote we have:
TS3 for Tri-State Sol-Sky (there are other tri-states)
OVK for Ohio Valley Kappas (could apply to any Ohio based Kappas like SE Ohio) Any guynacologists out there?
SSWO South-western Ohio (does not include Ky or Indy)
TSK for Tri-State Kappas (Tsk, tissk, tiss, personally, I like the car names Sol-sky instead of Kappas)
TSSS (sounds like a cuss word- almost)
How about some more? we need a clear winner

Not everybody is as car crazy as we are. There are new kappa owners out there who may not know what kappa means. Perhaps Ohio Valley Solstice Sky (OVSS) or Ohio Valley Solstice Sky Owners (OVSSO) would get more attention. It occured to me that Ohio Valley means all states boardering the river OH, KY, PA, WV, IN, and IL. Then our logo could have six states plus the river
