Can the stock pcm in the 2.4 be used to tune for turbo charging alone?

Some people have their doubts about the stock 2.4 computers ability to compensate for adding a turbo and I wanted a clear answer as to if the stock pcm is a credible tool to use for tuning or if piggybacks or extra or different sensors need to get involved to make it work?

You can tune your car off of HP tuners.

If you do not tune the car with the turbo in it. I would tell you NOT to drive it until it is tuned. You will end up poping your motor with in a few weeks. 1-3months if you are REALLY lucky.

well, problem is i have a tune done with the turbo but its a crappy tune right now with ls2 edit, later this week we are thinking of switching over to hp tuners and starting over from scratch again. the tune is so bad that the car sees boost and just wants to stop accelerating. i was trying to keep the car at 2000 rpms all the time to stay out of boost until a retune, then i think the broke the bov from eratic driving trying to stay out of boost. car is in the shop right now trying to see whats wrong and if it can be fixed or i need a replacemnt part.
