I went to a local speed shop yesterday. I've been wanting a turbo vs. SC for my 2007 automatic but there is none available yet through the approved vendors, even Hahn. Well, the shop said they could do a custom install with turbo and intercooler, custom chip upgrade and dyno tuning...everything I wanted but have not been able to find from one of the approved...also said thay could get around 400 hp out of it including the hiflo cat and dual solo exhaust I've already got...has anyone done this kind of thing yet? Hey car guys...I need some guidance here.

I have a custom set up done on my car. The only problem is that you are auto ? It is alot harder to tune a auto car vs a stick car. It can all be done. And if this shop is very well known for building turbo cars. I would say give it a try. I did that with one of my local shops. And I put out very very strong #'s.

I will have to see it to believe it. I have yet to see a turbo for the auto. There has been plenty of research and development going on though. No one has yet to get her done.
Personally after zzbils ordeal, I would just wait till a kit comes out.

What's the name of the shop?
Is it possibly a Vette tuner shop too?
What tuning software do they plan to use to tune the Automatic?

I don't want to pass judgment on any tuners before knowing the whole story, but I highly doubt that they can program the Automatic transmission for use with a turbo. With a S/C it's not beyond reason to just let it alone and not run into any major issues, but the turbo adds another level of complexity that flat out requires changes to the ECU.

We are within close reach of a complete solution, but won't release it until it is 100% perfect. The initial results are awesome...our auto prototype cars are making me rethink my preference for manual transmissions!

If I had to guess at availability of the automatic transmission version of our turbosystem, I'd project late winter/early spring.
