I sent a PM to DDM asking them when we can expect the Stage III Supercharger to be readt for sale, but have not received an answer. Does anyone know when this might be available?

I know you're not gonna release prices or stats or anythign really concrete until your ready and that is totally understood, but can you give a preview? Is this really gonna be a TVS blower, or head work, or just tuning and pulley down the MP62?

Basically, without promising any details, what is the major upgrade over stage II? I know a lot of people have been speculating over this upgrade for quite a while, including me.

I installed the Stage II update yesterday and it works GREAT! It feels like I already installed a stage III kit!

Yeah, it's got a belt...and, yeah it takes a little careful adjusting to make it stay in place

(only took me three belts on the learning curve), and, yeah a small amount of power is

used to drive it when it's engaged...BUT:

1. It boosts from idle up

2. The installation is simple, and doesn't require removal of the intact factory exhaust

3. No oil lines or tapping into the oil pan for lubricant

4. No red-hot glow plug of a lump of casting just waiting for trouble (see #3)

From what I've read the screw blower in not as long-lived as the Eaton.

Anyway, to each his own...

Jackknife,

It is a screw blower, it screws with the mind of anyone who messes with you and you mash the gas.

You guys are funny.

Jackknife, your 1-4 are all reasons why I originally jumped on the sc bandwagon. It's been a great ride. Just gotta get an ECM off to DDM for the "fix" . Knock on wood, I have had no belt issues, but I don't think I run mine as hard as some of you guys.

I suspect stage III is going to be a little more intrusive

My ECM is currently at DDM...I await delivery. Reports on the DDM Board are glowing.

My belt problem was a result of a misaligned idler pulley...once corrected, all was well.

I'll have to see what Stage III entails before I commit. Like you, I'm VERY pleased with

what I have, and I have no desire to go into the engine if that's what is planned.

I got the cash now I just need to see whether the stage III is worth it or not before I go ahead and buy the turbo. Hopefully you can give us some info by the end of the month or WERKS will get my money

I predict that pictures, specs and prices might be public after Lexington. Might even be other (new) offerings from DDM. Just my guess!
