beek,

looks like your getting some serious knock on that 3rd run, did you happen to data log the ecu during the runs?

My rule of thumb:
If your dyno looks like an ekg then Check your ecm...The flux is just way too great almost like it like it hits ecm limits/issues and suts down over and over on that run if not the other one a bit too!

Ya. For sure check that thing out. Here is my Dyno chart when I had my old car with Stage III. Notice the difference in the curve?

Congrats on the stage 4 :-)

Just thought that it woud produce far more than 300 hp at 14 psi.

I'd like to know if you were logging KR on this run too. You have a very large dip in torque around 3500 rpm, which usually indicates timing is being pulled. It also corresponds with your lean spike.

bterbeek - The first two runs look nice. Like everyone else has stated, the third run looks like something went wrong between 3500 and 4000 rpm's.

opjohn - I think he would have made more power if the run were taken to redline. Looks like they started to let off around 6000 rpm's (due to the steep drop off in power). Had they carried it to redline it would have made a lot more power. Although, I hear the Hahn redline is around 6200. Is that true?

We were not logging KR, but I also asked Bill Hahn about the same thing and he said it was normal. As far as his being lower numbers for Stage IV, I think he does not have the high boost option on his stage IV (valvetrain upgrades like mine has). Without them, you really can't push the boost past 15psi. My car is pushing about 375whp with the valvetrain upgrades on 100 octane and 18psi of boost.

That power dip looks to be the same dip that everyone was having. GM put a "piston slap table" in there and at around 3500 rpms it would dump a whole bunch of fuel in. When we took this out the car ran lean, then we dialed it back in. It ran a lot better after that. I bet this is what clearbra dip is.

Ordered the Solstice: Black with leather, steering wheel controls, A/C delete (who needs A/C in a convertible). Custom turbo kit, maybe!

Bill Hahn thought it was a good idea to run 14:1 A/F on the tune during peak torque?

Uhh...

Beau,

That A/F ratio was with a crappy tail pipe sniffer. After installing a proper bung in the downpipe, we were able to get a better reading and never saw the 14:1 spike.
