No, I do not work for GM or any subsidiary or supplier.
OK, are you using the stock MAP sensor? Reason Im asking is that you cant rely on the MAF to compensate for the extra fuel needed during large throttle openings, you need the MAP, but if youre using the factory one it can only register from vacuum to atmospheric and cant see boost. As far as it knows you went from a vacuum condition to atmospheric but in actuality you went from a vacuum condition to a positive pressure condition.
Im sure you could mess w/ the PE enable stuff and it would help some but I dont know if that would be enough. A 2.5 bar MAP sensor from a LSJ engine would sure make tuning alot easier.
As far as the MAF sensor goes, youre goal is to have max MAF signal right around youre max airflow. You can minuplate MAF signal by changing its loacation in the intake tract and the size of the inlet tube that its mounted in. Its entirely possible that youre MAF signal is maxing out before you reach max airflow and if it is that would just exacerbate the problem.
P0121 seems to be fairly common w/ turbo kits and the LE5. This is how the code was explained to me. When the PCM opens/closes the throttle a particular amount it expects to see the other sensors(MAP,MAF,etc.) react in a certian fashion, when it doesnt see the change that it expects it sets P0121. P0172 can only be set in closed loop so its likely just a issue of the fueling during cruise not being quite right.
I know youre using LS2 edit but it might be a good idea to ask for help on the HPtuners forum, some pretty sharp guys there. Good Luck
Not sure of the price but it bolts to the intake on the LSJ set-up so youd need to find a way to mount in to the stock intake. I think the LE5s MAP is a clip on style, held on to the manifold with 2 little "arms". Its also worth mentioning that its a combination MAP/IAT so you have the option of using the IAT in the factory MAF or the one built into the new MAP.

I have a Vector flash with my Hahn turbo and I get the P-0121 code regularly. Should Vector be able to correct the setting?

also, can you guys tell me exactly what spark plugs to get and the gap for them for a turbo application, 2 steps colder i know is all. which ones have you turbo guys been using?
Stock plug gap was .040 - Hahn had us change to a .030 setting on stock plugs - then later to a .030 setting on NGK V-Power #4306.
