Looks like a days work. Maybe a day and a half. Any tuner shop should do it.

We are offering an install special of only $600.00 here at our shop until we done with the pre-orders (probably end of March). Since we designed it we know all the little tricks to install one! For the average person plan on a solid day or day and a half.

Any chance you will work on getting a set-up for automatic transmission?

I think there is more than just me waiting.

I took two days, about 12 hours to install my Hahn.

If Dave's instructions are simple enough for a Texan you could cut the install time to 10 hours!

A tip - pay the upgrade for 'T' bolt clamps, you'll be happy you did.

Best thing I did was to lay out the kit on the floor to get a feel for the configuration.

Thanks Carl! I ended up paying for the t-bolt option and ended up buying the better water cooled ball bearing turbo instead of the standard one. Carl, did you or tweety write a
post on how to mount the werk's radiator? I remember seeing something. I'm going to install the turbo myself, that way i can yank it out in case i have to pass smog in five years, assuming I still have the car. Thanks!

Howdy Mamods,

What is your position on the "better" water cooled ball bearing turbo? Does that mean that the base turbo design is not going to last longer???

Thanks

Not at all, I heard the base turbo supports 450hp. I do not think it will last longer. I just need the water cooled one because I live out in 115 degree weather. We struggle to keep
turboed cars cooled. Im hoping with the ram hood, Norm's fenders, werk's radiator and my special front end i keep the cooling problems away. I saw a guys turbo begin to melt his carbon hood out here.

Ok got it, so that's a "better cooled" turbo for harsher regions...
Thanks
