New Feature For The Wind Restrictor!

We are now offering a new feature for the Illuminated Laser Etched Wind Restrictor.

The brake lamp module. This is very simply wired to your rear harness and taps into 3 wires. It allows the Illumination to turn on at an adjustable brightens with the turn of the knob so that it emits the perfectly desired amount of illumination when you turn your driving lamps on and it will also illuminate when you push the lock button on your remote to your SOLSTICE with the driving lamps. When you hit the brakes it will illuminate at full adjustable power. This new feature adds a new advantage to the WR. Not only is it a great full functioning wind deflecting device, and an amazing piece of art work that adds the perfect touch to personalize and set your SOL apart from all others it also acts as a safety upgrade with this new feature!!!

That sounds really cool. Now can you make it animated like a transparent video screen so when you press the brakes, you can have it flash "STOP!!!!" And programmable too... Maybe integrated with your iPod so it'll display album art and track information for the song currently playing!

Do you have an "Up grade kit", or does one have to buy a whole new WR?

Maybe its just me, but wouldnt turning it on to the fullest brightness be more of a distraction to the driver behind you?

This can be added to any illuminated WR. The installation is very simple!

I wanted to offer this at a lower cost I thought I would be able to but this is about what they cost me each. Not including the design fee etc. If I buy a large amount of these at once I could get them at a slightly lower cost.. But so far I have not sold any so they will stay at the 65.00 cost for now unless I can find someone to make them the same quality but for less money. This is not likely unless I had them made in China. The quality is the best it can be with 2 knobs for adjustment on both settings, and a plug in adapter.

I meant brendand's idea:

"That sounds really cool. Now can you make it animated like a transparent video screen so when you press the brakes, you can have it flash "STOP!!!!" And programmable too... Maybe integrated with your iPod so it'll display album art and track information for the song currently playing!"

I wasn't commenting on your price.
I'm actually planning to order one of your wind restrictors as soon as I come up with the concept art for my etching.

Not quite sure yet.
Definately want my screen name as part of the design (modestly displayed).
I'm also thinking about including the car logo.

Or maybe something different altogether. I'm having trouble deciding.

Can anyone tell me rather or not these windscreens are legal in CA? I know that color lights for many things here is illegal. But I'd like to look into the red design, when breaking only? But I dont want a cop bugging me all the time about it if it's illegal?

Also, how much restriction does this offer? Although the form is very beautiful, I'm curious about the function? Wind doesn't bother me, but my wife on the other hand.....

Thanks!!

all wind screens / restrictors will reduce not eliminate the wind turbulence at highway speeds with the side windows up...it will reduce the turbulence in the cockpit it self...but it isnt going to save the wife's hair......gonna have to go top up to do that!!!...

in cooler weather you will also tell a difference as well

with the restrictor on and windows up...you can carry on a normal conversation and hear the stereo much better, vice without it and the windows down...my 2 cents..

Hi CD,

I can't say if the Wind Restrictor is strictly legal in CA or not, but I live in Port Hueneme CA, (Ventura County) and I have had one for about 4 months and haven't had any law enforcement divisions say anything to me about it. Mine lights up only when the headlights are on, and is not hooked up to the brake lights, at least not yet.
