I hate doing this but am not getting a reply regarding TR# or details of my order from emails i sent. I bought the center console with the diamond stitching and arm pads. At first I was told he was having a tough time getting the centre console to refabric, now i am just not getting details at all. I think payment of product should only be executed when the product is ready to ship. JMP had no problem taking my $209 May 5th and yet i have still received nothing especially when you advertise on your website as though its a stock item.
I don't like bashing vendors but at the same time i expect service. If you hadn't had taken the funds out i wouldn't be so impatient. Maybe on future orders only take the funds when you are positive on shipping details and tracking information, this would put the buyer a lot more at ease.

Hey, I can understand the frustration and you may have a valid complaint but I'll tell you that while my custom center console took a week or two longer than I hoped, in the end it was well worth it. JPM does great work, they're slammed with all the custom requests, and I think at the end of the day you'll love the product they provide you.
thats definitely what i am hoping for...i would just like some information and details, thats all...its just the fact of being out the funds with nothing to show for it.

I appologize for not getting to you sooner. I'm just now checking the sales emails from the recent holiday weekend and see that you asked for an update. The situation is as follows:
Your console was in queue to work on last week. We ended up marring one up by accident. Our material shortage required us to wait for new leather to remake the cover. I had anticipated getting the leather sooner and shipping the console out before today but that did not happen. The leather shipment is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Yours is the first one on the list to get made. I will then ship it international express to make up for the time lost.
Again, I appologize for the missed communication and the frustration you have. Please feel free to call any time you do not get a response via the internet. I may not always have time to sit down and look through the forum, but I always answer my phone (unless i'm on another call in which case I return my messages immediately).
I can send you the failed attempt cover as well so you know I'm not making up stories to push you to the side.
As for charges, we set our website up to work just like any other. Even large companies like Katzkin and Cover King charge up front for custom produced items. Honestly, I wish I had the capital to work on 20 projects without taking payment until the end but unfortunately, I am still a small business. I am however willing to acommodate the customer to the absolute best of my ability. If for some reason you don't want your card charged until the process is complete, I am more than happy to oblige.

I ordered one from them also shortly after that (May 9th). But I sent my console in so I didn't have to wait. I was told it would be ready last Friday or this past Monday...Tuesday since it was Memorial Day. Hopefully it is enroute. Good luck with yours. They seem great to work with and from what I have seen do good work.

That one is also waiting on materials. Should go out tomorrow with Jamie's. I plan on sitting down and knocking out all the consoles tomorrow when the leather comes in.
Everyone please bare with me on timelines in the next few weeks. I recently lost the help of my main seamstress to carpel tunnel. She's recovering, but I'm short handed in the meantime (btw, I'm also hiring incase you know anybody in the area ).

Dude don't bash on JPM. He has done so much for all of us here and he is swamped with work, and there's a reason for that. He also displays his stuff at some shows so sometimes he is not around because he is working hard to bring us better stuff.

It's ok Steve. He's just using the forum for its intended purpose. I didn't see any bashing, just concern from a paying customer.

Not to mention how he stands behind everything he does far more than anyone I have ever dealt with. If he has any failing it is how good his stuff is resulting in very high demand and for the most part it is just him. It is aways worth the wait and GM parts are other suppliers can kill you. I have purchased over a dozen items from Joe now and will add a few more when I visit shop again next month.
