Joe,
these seats have the same shape as ours. Looks like a different pattern. Is this possible?

what car is that? Covering those seats is not a problem. Making the sol seats look like those...well, that's a different story. Not sure what you were asking though.

Those seats may be hard to find as they are from 2000 Koenigsegg CC. Here are a couple more pics of the seats.

i think he was asking if you can make those seats out of ours. just think of a more exaggerated tuck-and-roll

lol, well those have carbon fiber bolsters. Nothing is impossible but, for a one off seat replica, you're looking at close to the cost of just buying the original seats if you really want them to be exactly the same.

The best bet would be to find something similar and use it as a platform. I'll see if i can dig up a few candidates.

Here's a few that look similar (and by similar, I mean they are not really similar but somewhat remind me of them in a weird unlrelated way ). Of course, non of them are going to have cf bolsters though.

Maybe that's why Paul titled this thread "Million Dollar Question"

Koenegsegg hand makes their seat molds from Carbon Fiber and then adds Tempur cushioning covered in Leather.

Here's a link to where I read about them:

Nice. That's some heavy weave for CF. it looks like gel coat though instead of pre-preg cf. I wonder what that would do in an accident.

I would imagine that replicas with gel coated wet lay cf would be around $2k each. Actual structural pre-preg CF would probably be around $5-8k each depending on who does the cooking. Panoz motorsports is closest to me and they have a nice autoclave.

Great pictures Mark, I have not been able to find good pics. What I want is that stitch pattern of the pads on a stock seat. No carbon. Just that pattern instead of the solstice pattern. Joe, is this do-able? The seat seems to have the same basic shape. So a black leather with off-white pillow type pattern. Joe?? I got faith in you.

Yeah, no problem at all. The stitch is the basic double stitch (same as on the stock seats). The pic you posted shows the off white leather, the one that bonefire posted looks almost like a light tan. Either way, it's doable.
