I recently had the Performance Shifter Assembly and Custom stiched boot installed and I love it. The shorter shaft makes for a smoother shift, the ball fits much better in the palm of your hand and you can actually feel it shifting. And it looks awesome.

Will take pics tomorrow if the rain moves out.

Thanks Joe for another awesome product.

Jr.

The latest ones have sadly taken over a month. It's an issue I'm trying to resolve with my machinist.

I have yours in hand. We're waiting on special etching spray for the knob. The aluminum ones aren't engraved. The black anodized ones get blasted with a laser and the shift pattern comes out white. The natural finished ones have to get a special spray put on them that gets baked on in black when the laser hits them. The spray is what we're currently waiting for. It's $75 and has to be shipped ground b/c it's an aerosol product. We had the last batch engraved on wednesday but were informed that the spray is no longer in supply so we had to order some from cali. We're just waiting on that shipment to come in so we can do yours (which will actually be the first one as no others have ordered etched aluminum in a natural finish).

Of course I had to ask for the combination that requires the out of stock spray!

The process is much more complicated that I was aware. Thanks for the explanation and I look forward to receiving my shifter and leather console cushion/pad in the near future.

Cheers.
