Kappa Windscreens is excited and pleased to announce the availability of the first-ever TEMPERED-GLASS WINDSCREEN for your Solstice or Sky roadster. Nothing compares to the high quality look and feel of: smooth, polished, sparkling, clear glass. We decided to bring this same level of refined glasswork to the work of art that is your roadster.
The practical benefits of using tempered-glass are:
* Ease of cleaning, able to clean with solvent-based cleaners.
* Virtually scratch-proof.
* Able to effectively etch or color etch.
* Resistant to wind vibration.
The screen is available in several mounting configurations. For details contact Kappa Windscreens at the phone number or e-mail listed below.

Reason: added feature
Ok, you got my attention! Looks like it attaches to the inside of the cabin (or at least one of the configurations does), similar to the Kappasphere upshield configuration. Install details will likely determine if this is the one I want, so if you could please post something about how it installs, whether it stays in place with the top up, etc. that would be much appreciated.
We are offering the screen mount in two versions. Cabin-mount high-profile or low-profile. They both remain in place when the top is raised. The attachment is to two pre-existing receivers/ mounting points.

UPDATE ON TEMPERED-GLASS WINDBLADE VERSIONS. The tempered-glass windblade is available in 2 cabin-mount versions: high-profile , about 7 inches high at the arc's apex and low-profile , roughly 5 inches tall at the apex. The low-profile version will have a flatter arc (larger radius) and be roughly 1 inch above the humps as one looks at the rear of the car. Both versions can remain in place when the top is raised.

Hey Zolsol, could you post a couple of pics of the 2 sizes in the tempered glass. I am not sure that I want one that is above the humps, but want to see them compared to each other. I like the "in the cabin" (rather than trunk seal) mounting option, and would also appreciate seeing the installation instructions (maybe you could post them on your website?).
Finally, pricing - could you post what they go for without etching or light kit, and the upcharge ranges for those things? If for whatever reason you don't like posting prices, please PM me as I am very interested in getting one of these.
Here are some pics: Low Profile vs High Profile. To help put it into perspective, looking forward at deck level the LP apex is about an inch above the humps and the HP apex is about as high as the seat tops.

Has anyone that ordered one received and installed it yet? I want to see how the cabin-mount version installs, in particular, would like to see photos of the connection points and photos of it installed with the seats tilted forward so you can see the whole thing. Also, I would be interested in anyone's assessment of whether the high-profile version significantly improves performance (if anyone has experience with a low profile type for comparison purposes).
Zolsol, what is your impression of the performance difference between the high vs. low profile versions?
