Northern Sol

Once I don't hear from ASAP by end of day tomorrow I will be ready to roll forward with you on this. I figured we should give ASAP a chance out of respect. I am really grateful that you are willing to do this for me. I hear you also have been making some hats for forum members.....any chance of one with just GXP on it?

And that should be "suttle" not "shuttle".

You obviously know what you are doing so I would go with whatever you think works best. I am always about shuttle on my Sol. My vision from day one is to "mod" the car the way it should of come from GM. Example, I am replacing the plastic rear fascia with a fiberglass one from Norm. I am going with smooth black paint with no lettering / wording on it...just black plastic off and Black painted fiberglass on. Possibly Black. That blocks out the light so it only comes through the letters, like mine.
The Yellow vinyl is more translucent to some degree and it may not completely block the glow of the Red tail light.
I'd have see if I have a Yellow that would match or be close to a Mean Yellow. Or possibly Red so the light still appears Red until you hit the Brake and the light comes on.
The darker vinyl colors will Block out the light vs. the lighter colors tend to allow light through them a bit.
If you have a sign shop locally, that does vinyl decals, you could see what color works best and I could even email them the graphics file and have them cut it for you!

Thanks for the push Gareth re the centre consol. I hope it works, but I think it may be in vane. After I ordered it I got an email from them saying that they were sorry but they have been very busy and that they are back ordered at the present time and they would not be able to ship until Nov 2. That's why I said, I'll get it just in time to winterize my car. Drat!
