No, the seller is just wrong. There were 281 coupes with manual trans.

And there were 41 silver GXP coupes with manual trans.

(Corrected to exact number when I had time to look it up)

I kinda of agree, even if I know I'm biased, but the real question is will we be alive to see it. At 63, I'll probably be druling all over myself before it happens. And the druel will not be over cars but loss of control.

Yep.

Now had you put a price in there, say - the most beautiful coupe that could be had for under $30,000 when new - that could actually be a debate.

During the May14-19 Mecum auction in Indy, part of the Jim Wangers collection going off includes a 2009 Solstice Coupe w 7726 miles. Auction lot #R478. Not sure of the vin. I believe it was a PR car so probably not sequential.

466 is an example that I have discussed in the past, on the registry. Last owner was in NV and for sale with 28,743 miles on 4/2017. Now in IN. for sale 5/2019 and advertised with 28,692miles. I've run into a few like that. I understand cars that are not driven at all over a period of time but the ones with backwards readings, I question. Maybe sellers are just pulling a number out of their hat? Any thoughts?

With a 51 mile discrepancy I am going to guess that either NV should have been 26,743 or IN should be 29,692. Or some other typo/slip of the memory. Or the aforementioned hat trick.

It's usually the simplest solution:
