this would be a good time to remind people of
this old radiator hose thread where a cut has been known to occur on some GXPs...

I found a cut in my 08 GXP hose way back when...

They've actually been on sale since last June.

Edit - I removed the link. I don't think PAW is a site sponsor and DDM sells these too.

That's why I asked for a PM; that's OK, isn't it? I'm not even sure what PAW stands for, so can't even search for them.

It would appear that PAW is no longer a supporting vendor of this forum.

Thanks for the clarification @DaveOC!

Regardless, Dave is still outstanding. Will be even more outstanding when I get my reprogrammed TCM tomorrow and I can go vroom vroom even faster!

I would agree, I've bought a bunch of used/take-off items from him over the years and they have always been exactly as he has stated. Service is prompt, too.

Thanks. I thought it sounded familiar; been a while since he was on the board, and longer since I bought something from him.

There's a good video on YouTube made by DDM on how to burp the air in the cooling system. I haven't changed my hose that I got last summer yet, but I anticipate on following the videos instructions for air removal post hose install.
