I contacted Klearz a few months back with no luck, I am glad to hear they are considering it again. I would be in for a set.

Rob - in a previous post I asked you "how clear is clear" on your printer? My concern would be refraction from the layering used in the process.

2007 2.4L N/A. Stock + some pretty crap.

Why not take the next step and print the base also so that you can fit a two-element bulb and have a "real" blinking side marker, even with LEDs.

@chickenwire, Rob had already replied to your question earlier in this thread:

I'm up for running a test. We print them face down and the outside edge will be smooth as glass and high gloss. Might look very nice. And cheap.

Then you could get recompense for adding custom text or graphics.

I'm in for the blinking turn signal side marker assembly with white lens and LED's!
Ehhh, what's this gonna cost BTW?

Well then....looks like Wire oughta be taking his calipers home tonight. See if I can get enough dimensions on this and perhaps a profile on the window seal . . .

Postage = about $10 for a box and shipping plus a few bucks for the filament. My time is free. CW is however demanding and expensive LOL

I'm in for two sets.

I'd also pay, say, a 20% premium if we don't get enough participants if they'd do a run. I've thought about yanking one off of one of the cars and building a model that could be cast or printed. But, that would take way more than $90 of my time.

Does anyone here have access to a high-res 3D scanner that would work for these types of parts?

Blue-ish 2006 2.4, Werks stage 1 turbo, Borla cat-back, DDM braces, Spec aluminum flywheel, Spec stage 2 clutch, Werks aluminum radiator, some gauges, RKSport hood, Morimoto FX-Rs, GReddy Profec, Norm's fenders

'07 GXP, RPM Stage 2, Solocatless downpipe, TCE Wilwood 6 piston front brakes, 4-piston rears , Stainless brake lines, slotted/drilled rotors, BC Racing BR coilovers, Performance Autowerks intercooler, DDMWorks CAI, charge pipes and braces

I'm thinking...white lens on black car, amber stock lens on black car, clear lens on black car...hmmm, black lens on black car...no. I'm in for whatever shows up, for the aggravation if nothing else.

@rob the elder. I’m in for a set. Although I modified my stock lights already and put 3” switchback led strips. So I already have a turn signal side marker in one. The white interests me though, because my Sol “No Grey Area” is all black and white. With yellow side markers of course. If it helps. I bought an OEM replacent a while back that is still in the box. Can loan it if it helps the process.
