Fog lights not working and weird radio issue

I bought a wrecked 2008 NA Solstice, fixed it this past winter ..... Drove is for the first time this past weekend.

The fog light switch doesn't do anything, fog lights don't work and the switch feels like it isn't 'working' when you push it on ..... I have checked the fuses .... Any ideas ?

Next, while driving down the road the radio switches (by itself) between radio and auxiliary input. There is nothing plugged into the auxiliary plug. Sometimes it switches every 5 seconds and other times I could listen to the radio for 20 minutes before it switched to auxiliary

had the same problem with my fog light switch. Took it out and sprayed it inside with contact cleaner. worked fine for about a year. Quit working again and I bought a new one on eBay. end of problem. Don't have to remove dash to replace, just remove chrome instrument bezel, black inner instrument tunnel under bezel, and you can reach the foglight button release tabs with some needle nosed pliers.

there are two different types of buttons, lit and unlit. be sure and get the one with the built in LED bulb.

get a can of air, and blow the air in the area of the aux connector.

Strange things have been reported before , and this was one solution.
( also inserting and removing an appropriate plug from that connector while doing the air... )
