solsticeforum needs your help (tech issues collection)

Many people are on the site, and a distributed task is much easier than a single person attempting to do it.

the subject is "Technical Issues" with solstice/kappa.

We'll be looking to consolidate these into two main threads (or one main reference thread) with links to the discussions. this should help multiple discussion threads and make getting to what we all collectively know about the car easier for noobs and veteran members alike.

So, here's how you can help:

Pick an issue (like "differential clunk"), find all of the links that discuss it (there are about a dozen that come to mind), and post them in a subsequent post, with a listing of the subject ("differential clunk") and whether there is a solution for this issue or not (no immediate solution? Possible solution?)

Or "foam blocks in trunk". Or "water leaks".

Don't forget issues that have been addressed or solved, even if all it took was you going back to your dealer.

Eventually, we can consolidate these into a reference thread to find technical issues and whether they have a solution or not.

Don't know what you have in mind, but here is the 2006 Solstice Service Manual section titles (with two title for the 2007 2.0L Turbo).

If you were going to list the new compilation threads, perhaps this order/grouping would work. Or maybe it is too much. Just a thought.

If the issues were to be rewritten into a new post or thread, they could follow the recommended format of a repair order: Concern, Cause, Correction.
