I have an issue regarding this message:
https://www.solsticeforum.com/forum/2146033-post13.html

Earlier this afternoon I could click on the thumbnail and the image would open.

But things have changed, now I get this message . . . . . .

I reposted the photos on the "2018 NASSAM Pictures" thread. See if you can see the photos there.

The forum hosts are migrating to the cloud. They are working out the issues that arise. Search function is also wonky. Same things are happening on another forum I use for my truck.

The "cloud"

Yeah, I always love it when an improvement is worse than any worse thing before. I wouldn't put water vapor in the "cloud". If you want something, save it on a real drive and back that up. Photos my grandfather, who died in 1925, created and printed in his portrait studio are still perfect. They can only be digitally manipulated if you pick them up with your fingers! Many are over 100 years old and worthy of the George Eastman House museum of photography.

So, are we screwed out of viewing photos...again? Photobucket kaflooey and now this? This just is not right. And don't give me the "oh, you can post on FaceBook". I can and have, but don't have the time anymore to mess with trying to use it as a communications medium that has all the security of a billboard (my opinion)...pick up the phone, send me a text or an email, attach a photo...what a concept. I remember the first advantage of email at the college. We could delay any decision by NOT talking to each other. Now to grammer and punctuation and spell check...whew, I got wound up.

Any solution to "Forbidden"?

I got it with the "cloud". My issue is I don't own it or have any control. (Ah, the old "control issues" again...) A lot like this "Forbidden" problem.

Any news on resolving it and getting back to being able to view attached images? Very frustrating. I saw the Testing Support (Ignore) post but even the attached photo of the Nikon in the post is forbidden to view.

Maybe if I do the Apple Microsoft incantations and burn some data storage units it will help? Or just wait.

Autoforums had been made aware of the issue but I have not received anything back from them at this time.

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it!

Cloud is the way to go !

Cloud service is even the biggest money maker for a company like Amazon.

I have used the cloud for backups for at least 15 years. Because for people who travel a lot that is the only option to have an accessible backup stored at a different location than your own computer.
