I feel like I'm standing in the middle of Timesquare NewYork with all the flashing AD's , the forum was easier on the eyes before, and a lot less annoying with the advertising.

2008 MEAN GXP..... Mods... 3" Magnaflow dual exhaust,5 matching yellow engine caps, fuse cover stainless.

who's idea was the ghastly turquoise color? Can we please be given a choice on this ?
I'm not going to throw any one person under the bus for this one. It was decided between the moderators/admins and the team over here. This color was one which historically could have been the default for the site all along. Whoever was responsible before didn't complete the composition of the skin. I will discuss with the team tomorrow.

need more smileys

On the whole it is an improvement, thanks.
For the eyestrain crowd, we need a backgroud color choice for our personal viewing.

A bug? Before the changes, if you were to pick several smileys in a row, there was a space between them by default. There is no longer.

Is this a bug, or that infamous operator error rearing it's ugly head once more?

Hey, some people like it... And we will see about other options as well. Everyone must remember, this is a work in progress, it will take time to tune it up to satisfy the majority. Thanks for all the useful input so far. I appreciate it!

Nadeen, mine looks better now as I am using the Solstice #2 skin. I also turned off the ads on some pages as per Kathy's suggestion.

My criticism certainly isn't meant to be negative, just constructive critisism. Otherwise I would have just done one of these.

No offense taken, and thanks for verifying that the Solstice #2 skin is now up and working! This community continues to be a great one, and I commend all of you for your patience and support!

I am really going to miss the "My Recent Posts" selection. That made it real easy to find changes in the threads I was currently posting in.

Check out my list of Mods
