Site issues after migration to the Cloud

Please post any issue you are having with the forum here. It will help us better inform Autoforum tech staff.

Be as detailed as possible on the issue and include screen shots if possible.

The attached picture issue is being looked into but if you find posts with the problem of access being denied please post a link to the post here.

Also, if you have an issue, please put a brief explain action in the title. That will allow the mod team to easily pull all the same issues into one thread and forward to the tech team.

Thank you for your assistance and patience as they work through this transition!

Side note: There are only 2 of us that moderate the forum - myself and Rob.
We do this as volunteers and are not watching the forum all day. We will check the forum 2-3 times daily and this may delay sending info to autoforums.

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it!

Thanks for posting 3 examples! That is very helpful and no more are needed.

Update: just recieved a post that the tech team is aware of the attachment issue and is looking for a resolution.

Did you migrate to the large or small Magellanic cloud? There is a 40.000 light year difference and it could affect transmission time.....

Good luck sorting the inevitable glitches (I have none to add to the ones already noted).

Current fleet:
1957 Jamaican bodied MGA
1958 MGA Twin Cam (race car)
1962 MGA Deluxe Coupe
1971 Jensen Interceptor

2007 BMW Z4M coupe
Recently departed: 1965 Jensen CV8, 1969 Lamborghini Islero S, 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT, 1969 MGC roadster

I have a similar issue with private messages, or so it seems.

Thanks.

First I couldn't log in (I had it automatically remembering my login password) so I now have a new password. Secondly it doesn't let me see any of the thumbnails attached to the postings.

I live with an IT geek and I've never heard those words out of their mouth!

I belive this issue lies in how the data was/wasn't migrated over 😉

It may also have to do with permissions not being set correctly (and possibly admins that need to adopt user level permissions in order to test things us users are experiencing), or several hundred other options.

Patience is the order of the day.

NUTS !

the trick we use to display photos in-line from the thumb-nails is not working.
See this post: https://www.solsticeforum.com/forum/...ml#post2146841

Also the thumb-name attached to this post is supposed to be also in-line...

Note that the image above is not displaying.

Also, if I click on the thumb-nail, then I get "forbidden"

Now I'm getting impatient. How long is it going to take before attachments are available again.

I have viewed my post in this thread on two different computers.
I see the thumb-nail, but not the embedded/in-line version of it.
