Solsticeforum is S-L-O-W to respond today.

Has anyone else noticed that solsticeforum.com has unusually slow response times today? It is also taking a long, long time to post replies to threads.

The other AutoGuide forums I use daily are as snappy as usual, just the solsticeforum is being slow-slow-slow.

Slow on my iPad, slow on my desktop CPU, Slow on my Laptop.

It took almost 3 minutes to post the first message in this thread from the time I clicked "Submit" to the time it was displayed.

Oh well . . .

I have not experienced any problems today here.

Dave - maybe the Internet is just cold up there, thus causing the sluggishness. 😂
The only issues I have down here is when it's pouring rain....love being in the country but having to rely on satellite signal for Internet and tv can be frustrating at times.

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it!

I've noticed that this forum, Solsticeforum.com, has been balkier than the other forums I'm on after the move to the Google cloud.

Autoguide forums on vBulletin:
Solsticeforum.com
skyroadster.com
Veloster.org
SubaruBRZForum.com

Other Forums on difference software:
KappaPerformance.com
KappaBBQ.org

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Yeah, this morning was almost unbearably slow.

How has the speed been so far? Any more issues with it?

Was it hanging on Waiting for/ Connecting to anything specific?

No matter what you were doing it was taking a couple of minutes to respond, usually a "waiting for"

Ever since it was moved to the Google Cloud it has been slower than other Autoguide forums, and sometimes it is very, very slow.

I don't know.

I gave a browse around the forum and got around 3-5 seconds of load time.
I tested this on Chrome/WIN10.
Seems good on my end today (1:50PM EST).
How's the speed today?

Ed

Hmm . . . .

Today it is Skyroadster.com that is sometimes slow as molasses, "Waiting for skyroadster.com . . . "

Other times it's normal.
