All I see is "Attached Thumbnails" in bold print or a box with an X in it.

The only thing I've noticed is that they sometimes take a while to load, and until they load, there is nothing where they are supposed to be. This started with the move to the Google Cloud, and I suspect that there is some load balancing that is going to have to be done in order to get some of the performance back that was there before the move.

Growing pains? Hmm . . . maybe shrinking pains.

Did not notice any issues.
Both those threads performed OK with WIN 7 / Firefox 61.0.2

Explorer for work, but now that I think about it maybe it's due to my workplace firewalls. Though I believe that I could see thumbnails before the changed over to the Cloud. It's no biggie, I was just being curious.

I use Safari for my MacBook Pro at home, but I don't remember having an thumbnail issues at home.

This is the thread that made me wonder. I did ask the poster if they could change the thumbnail to another format, and I can see it now from work now. But I don't know if the poster changed anything.

Any browser configured to not show unencrypted content on sites/pages loading with SSL will not show them, as they are being served unencrypted. This is a site configuration error, IMO.

If you enable unencrypted content on encrypted pages in your browser settings all the content will load. But it would be MUCH better if the site overlords fixed the problem.

I found part of the issue on my home laptop Macbook Pro/Safari browser. Last week I deleted my internet history, it reverted me back to the Solsticeforum "full" screen. So the tools tab no longer worked, forum member avatars didn't display, and the only way I could post was if I hit Go Advanced, and then hit the Submit button.

I just switch back to the "classic" screen, now I can post normally and see members avatars. But there is no tools tab in classic view, but I can hit the search tab and use the my threads and my posts to keep track of the threads I'm following.

Hi there ChopTop. I'm still not able to replicate the issues you're mentioning, with the exception of the fact that the Tools tab is not showing in this view. The full view (for me, using MacBook Air/Safari or Chrome), shows thumbnails and avatars just fine, and the Tools tab and its functions all seen to work as they should. Quick reply is also working fine.

Just curious - is your iOS and Safari browser up to date?

Cheers,
Erik

My Safari flash player is not up to date, but I thought that would only affect videos and not photos. Regardless, the issue seems to have resolved itself by switching back to classic view. BTW, thank you for your time, its appreciated.

it's always a good idea to update your browsers so that new updates or function work.
