F/S OEM Luggage Rack, Houston TX

This ad was posted 30 days ago so I can't say for sure that it is still available (and it's on a parts car). But I figured it was worth posting because I don't see them become available very often. Price was approixamately around $400 when new. If someone buys this, please post in this thread so I know it was worth posting. TIA

Part Number: 19156320
(REQUIRES DRILL KIT 19166260 FOR INSTALLATION).

Uni-Wide Used Auto Parts, 9903 Airline Dr, Houston, TX 77037, (281) 445-1111

Thanks for letting me know. I knew it was a long-shot but thought it was worth posting due to how rarely I see them advertised for sale.

Based on the number of views to this thread in such a short period I'd say this item could be a money maker for someone with ability to 3d print it. If anyone with a 3d printer was interested they could start a new thread with a poll to gauge interest...And please show approximate price and available colors in that thread as well.

Afterwards maybe we can arrange a group buy on those cute wicker suitcases...

That'd take a pretty large printer. I could CNC a foam plug and make some out of fiberglass or potentially CF, probably embed some metal brackets for the tie downs. If someone has some detailed pictures, information on how it's mounted, maybe some dimensions, etc. I'd be willing to give it a shot.

I happen to have a spare trunk lid I could use for test fits, etc. Could be fun!

I think the best approach would be to form a sheet of 3/16 aluminum and anodize it.

@raygun These might help:

Sure - but then I wouldn't be able to justify the $$$ I've spent building the damn machine!

Thanks for the pics - I'll see what I can do.

Real close!

I have one and my car is light tarnished silver metallic; it's a perfect match!

I don't know about the rack, but the attachment bolts were the problem I had with one I had. Could not get anyone to make them.

My god! That is a beautiful ride you have. I see we are both storing our rides in storage lockers. I have a 10 by 20. I park one of my Sols in it plus I keep my parts, custom luggage and the soft top for the coupe when not in use.

Thank you sir!!!

It has changed a lot since then, but I still like it. lol

Has a Norm's light bar, which really makes the luggage rack stand out. Plus Norm's fenders and side skirts.

I am working on carbon fiber body extenders, that is what I call them. I want them to stick out about 3 inches wider than the car to keep the rock chips off. Flat air foil type deal.
