I have to disagree. I purchased a marine radar from an eBay seller for $1300. It was listed as in great shape and working perfectly prior to removal. Listing stated "no returns". I received it and it would not turn on. When I contacted the seller, he said that it was working perfectly and I must have done something to it and no he was not taking it back. I filed a claim with eBay. Seller closed his eBay account. After waiting for 5 to 6 days, eBay gave me a full refund including the $130 shipping fee.

I sold a brand new item in it's original box on eBay. I shipped the item in it's box packed inside a Priority Mail box. Customer changed her mind and asked for a refund. I reluctantly agreed. Buyer shipped the item in it's box instead of packing it in another box. The manufacturers box was covered with tape and labels making it unsellable as a brand new item. eBay gave her a refund out of my Pay Pal account. I contacted eBay and described the ruined box. They gave me my money back and told me to keep the item.

I've had many positive experience with eBay as both a buyer and seller. I would not hesitate buying from eBay. They have a very good customer service policy that protects the buyer and seller.

Does yours have the bad looking stitching on the bottom like the one on eBay?

I believe there were two different 1st 1000 hat versions. If I'm understanding the below post, 1st 1000 owners who attended the Detroit Renaissance Center were given out hats after the event.

Rogobuck1: If I remember correctly, they were passed out at the end of the meeting, both my wife and I have them, 8/5/2005

While 1st 1000 owners also received a different version in the mail along with other 1st 1000 gifts.

Saveaux, thanks for posting this, I bought this, and it is indeed a 1st 1000 ball cap. Other than some sweat stains in the white lining it's in very good condition.

You can tell this is a 1st 1000 hat because of the red trim and inside the hat it says Brian Robinson Headwear in turquoise. Made in China, naturally... Now I have two of these. Sorry for the crappy pics, I have a cheap cell phone.

Glad I can help CT!!

I usually check "Pontiac Solstice" on eBay nightly, then filter for "Newly Listed" and "Ending Soonest" as well as just the normal search.

It looks like the dash vents have already sold too!

Yes, it is the hat that GM sent to the people waiting on their 1st 1000 cars. I already had 2 of this hat, bought from SolsticeStuff.com (I think that's what the place was listed as. I just checked and it was SolsticeStuff.Com, otherwise known as Burston Marketing.)

I like the staggered setup but is a 30 offset on a 9.5" wheel going to stay under the fender? Anybody tried this?
