I looked at those wheels last year.

They are not BBS. I'm not sure why BBS is not going after them.

These wheels are one piece and BBS is 2 or 3 piece.

The brand name is R4L - Replicas 4 Less?

Feedback was not great either. I passed.

Exact wheels were $499 last year from the same seller.

Thank you for the clarification Syjos! The brand BBS is the reason I linked these, knowing they are a much more expensive wheel.

It never dawned on me they could be replica's, all I saw was the BBS center caps and "assumed", thanks for keeping me on my toes.

Hey Chop, you don't need to be kept on your toes.

I always look forward to your low priced, salvage, low mileage and other Kappa for sale postings.

It's like a Onecraig for all things Solstice. And it saves me from constant CL perusing.

Keep up the good work and thanks.

Very interesting: would it keep out rain?
Relatively easy to install and put on each time?

Yes I am selling my car BUT it has been for sale a long tie and who knows, so meanwhile...

Probably not good for a hard rain because if you are parked with the front end lower it would send water to the base of the windshield at the front of the dash (too many electronics in there). Easy set-up and tear-down, takes about 5 minutes - I love driving with the driver's side open!

I can't speak to leaking but I found it interesting that my first Solstice had been drilled/buttoned for a tonneau cover but my front buttons had been drilled into the window pillar instead of the hood like Greatgabs.

Not on ebay but today I received my Solstice book off Amazon. They have brand new ones for $39 shipped.

The Pontiac Solstice Book https://www.amazon.com/dp/0932128130..._oaHDCbNGXTSQ6

(Go to the $34.95 plus $3.99 for the cheap one).

For what it's worth I've seen these things go for as little as $50.00 on Ebay ,I purchased mine a few years ago along with some other memorabilia from the plant for $125.00 my book is #857 and has never been opened still sealed . There is another one listed on Ebay for a current bid of $49.95 & shipping just goes to show how overpriced the other one is .

If your into these that's a good price I've seen regular 1/18 Diecasts going for $100.00 or more and this is a numbered limited edition any scale of Solstice diecast is starting to get harder to find and the prices are going up .
