No, we shouldn't be anywhere near our room allotment yet, but I will inquire with the hotel and see where we stand. Glad they got you squared away.

In the next few days, we're adding three more runs to each day of the event to deal with the demand. Keep checking the nassam2016 website!

Just registered for the rally yesterday and counting the days!! Need more info on the two-way radio requirement. Recommended make, model, compatability, etc. Any help much appreciated. New to Solstice ownership. Bought our '08 GXP with 8,200 miles on it in November. Loving it!!

The wife and I use Midland GXT1000VP4s with headsets. But there are lots of good GMRS/FRS radios out there. Midland, Motorola, and others make them. They'll run you about $50-75 depending on what you get and where.

See you in Arkansas!

FCC says GRS must be licensed, but not FRS (FRS is the lower 15 channels on a GRS/FRS radio). Which are we going to use? I already have FRS radios. Will they be good enough?

A lot of the FRS radios, on high power, also requires a license for the lower channels. Therefore, we pinky-swear not to use them on high power. I got a set of Midlands, too. Works good, best bang for the buck.

Make sure you have a good headset since you can't hear a thing with the top down.

It's sticky!!!

I figure that GRS licensing will go the same way CB licensing did.
