well, I thought I had everything done but the GXP is down. While testing the new tires which had 50psi in them I way over trusted them and drifted into a curb, bent my right front rim to shlt and my alignment is jacked.

I thought about taking the IQ but I'm not too confident it wont tump over taking one of those turns at 70. I'm cool with dying and all but no way, not in that thing.

I'm trying to contain an outbreak here and you're driving the monkey to the airport.

50psi?!? Were you planning on running the salt flats? Hope that's all you have to get fixed.

I'm in the same shape, I got a grenaded engine and Dr Dave is doing his best to get me a car.

No, that's how much air the tire place sent me home with and I honestly think that's why I lost the rear end. The place that put the tires on my 06 for the dealer did the same damn thing and it rode like a tank. The dealer picked it up drove it back and told me they put run flats on it. guess he noticed it too. those were at 55psi.

I now have at 33 and it seems much better.

I'll be sure and get my stuff ironed out and be ready for the next time. That was the most fun I ever had on 4 wheels. it's a shame I gotta miss it.

I will happen to be passing by on Sunday. Heading to the gulf coast of Florida from a week in El Paso and New Mexico. Plan to jump off I-10 and pass through Austin and North end of Houston, before continuing to Fort Walton Beach.

If you see my solstice, flash your lights at me.

Yep, made it back. Only 60 miles of iced up roadway across OK but skated all the way to NW Ark.

PS Thanks for the photo. You caught my best side!

Yes, that was me. That is the first time I've ever been traveling in the same direction as another solstice.

Stopped in Lake Charles last night to enjoy a Cajun feast at Steamboat Bill's.

Well thank MikeO for the Solstice company, I was in the Brand H car. You should have been there a couple of days before that, would have had lots of Solstice company all running in one direction.

Thanks to everyone who showed, especially the Arkansas Gang. They were going home to a snowstorm. Had 4 on the Tour & 5 on the Run. Pretty much like the 1st couple of times we did it. Nice easy groups and we had the roads to ourselves. Good people, great weather, clear roads and a cheap bar tab. Can't aks for much more.
