If you look close the redline is at 6,800. I always thought it was 7000 too.

First want to say a big thanks to Randy and Danny Allen. Randy really was a big help yesterday getting the kit installed onto Danny Allen's car.

We have been real busy over the last couple days, but I wanted to answer a couple questions for everyone:

Concerning the heat and the supercharger sitting above the headers:

Will DDMWorks be offering a heat shield for the headers/ Will the factory heat shield work?
Yes, we will be offering a heat shield for aftermarket headers. If you are using the stock exhaust manifold, the stock heat shield can be modified to fit.

Will the supercharger cause me to use more gas?
During cruise and light throttle the supercharger has an internal bypass that allows the supercharger to use almost no horsepower, so during cruise and light throttle your fuel milege will be almost the same as stock. However, once you start doing lots of full throttle pulls, your gas mileage will go down. However we have found a direct inverse relationship between miles per gallon and smiles per gallon .

What headers fit with the DDMWorks DDM62 Supercharger?
The clear image long tube headers have been confirmed to fit the supercharger kit. The shorty headers from clear image will not fit. We have a prototype set of headers being shipped to us this week and will have some more information on those shortly. There is also another set of headers we know in the works that may or may not fit. We will keep everyone up to date on this as we learn what fits.

That is about it, I think that catches up all of the questions, if you have any others let us know!

There were a couple other questions about the tune, and I can say that the car does not hesitate when you hit the throttle. There are some timing changes on the car, as anytime you add force induction to a car, timing changes do need to be made.

As for the brackets we made yesterday, we changed the intake configuration a little for the better and had to make a new bracket to hold the filter, nothing really to do with the supercharger.

Thanks again to Danny Allen, for driving down through the night to get the kit installed and on VERY little sleep, driving back up to Ohio to be home today, really amazing!

Take Care,
Dave

No I know. I'm hoping for 100 maybe in the 1/4.

I'm just saying is the ECM programmed to take out the top speed limiter. Wonder how fast it will go though??

The N/A will do 130 Stock, Just ask Marco he has the ticket to prove it, so I can safely answer your question and say yes it will do 120.

I'd think mid 14s at around 95-96mph...taking that it is a 3000lbs car with 195-200whp. Maybe 100mph if you have really favorable conditions and a great driver.

RX-8 driver just passing through...

On my MY07 Sky the stock program as downloaded through HPTuners says:

Extreme Fuel Cutoff: 7100 rpm
Extreme re-enable: 6900 rpm

Cutoff RPM vs. Gear: Every cell is 7000 rpm
Oil Temp Limit: Every cell after 104 degrees is 7000 rpm

So my question is, do the MY06 ECU's differ from the MY07?
