Wasn't exactly the weekend I was hoping for. Last weekend I declared today being the day to get the car running after walnut blasting. Needless to say....it's not running now.

Is your garage heated??

Yes. I have two heaters. I keep it about 65 when I'm working in there. I did tile most of the day and cut it in the garage.

Good to see you back out working on the cars. I did the tile, cabinets and counter tops last summer. Get to do the bathroom this summer I guess. Not making the journey to New York so will penty of time I think. Putting a overhead in the garage so I have storage for the stuff the train keeps moving out of its way.

Have been working on my new little commuter vehicle. Since I now commute over 50 miles a day I decided to get a higher mileage vehicle to use as a commuter. More mods are in the works LOL.

Found time between thunder snow storms to detail both trucks and the wife's Trax. Quite a day's work.

three of us repaired John's rear window. About half the left side had come loose. We had an abundance of clamps that worked well. The only issue was the suckers are large enough so you are limited on the number of clamps that will fit the window and getting into the narrow side can be a challenge. We ended up cutting a piece of aluminum bar and using it as a clamp across the top and bottom edges to spread the force between the clamps. We first test fit the clamps till we got the optimum placement then applied the glue followed by installing the clamp arms and tightening everything down. On the end, we used a couple of dense foam wedges to make sure the narrow end was fully in contact with the glass. Worked pretty well. Will see how the result is once it cures.
