For sale is our low-miles (27K), two-owner, 2006 Pontiac Solstice in “Cool” silver. We bought the car three years ago with only 17K miles. We like these cars so much we just bought a 2007 Solstice GXP.
The car is a “three option package” car, with the Premium Package, Convenience Package, and Power Package. Other options include anti-lock brakes, Monsoon audio, A/C, and the limited slip differential. I think the only options it doesn’t have are the automatic transmission and the CD changer. I have the build sheet for the car, but not the original window sticker.
This is an early car (built 10/3/2005), as evidenced by the early revision top (so-called Plan A). Due to a damaged weatherstrip, we actually converted the top to a Plan B top, which required a pricy kit that replaced all the weatherstrips on the top and windshield header. This is a big benefit because Plan A replacement parts are basically unavailable. Most early cars will need the Plan B refit at some point, this car is already done.
The car is visually stock, with only a few tasteful mods under the hood. We added the GM Performance Cold Air Intake, which boasts a few extra horses, but mostly adds a sporty look and sound over the stock airbox (the original intake is included if you would like to revert the car). This intake is very rare, try to find one not already on a car. While other third-parties make cold air intakes for the Solstice, only the GM unit is 50-state legal.
The other performance improvement is the DDMworks Brace Bundle, which includes a front chassis brace, a rear chassis brace and the uprated 3/4” transmission tunnel brace.

This is far and away the most biggest bang-for-buck upgrade for the Pontiac Solstice, and is the first mod I will do to our new Solstice. Lastly, there is a DDMworks Stainless Steel Coil Cover.

This just a bit of tasteful engine bling. The original plastic engine cover is included and is easy to refit if you wish.
Other than that, the car is completely stock. The car was garage kept most of its life. Unfortunately, I don’t have a garage, but I have kept it under a fitted cover for the last three years. The car’s condition speaks for itself.
The car had all fluids (rear diff, coolant, transmission, brake, oil) changed at 17K miles when we bought it. The car just had an oil change 1700 miles ago at 25,000 miles. The car has a new AC Delco battery. The ignition switch recall has been performed and we have two keys and remotes. The recently announced passenger seat airbag sensor recall has not been done, dealers don’t have the new parts yet, but the airbag sensor is fully functional. The tires are original, and pass VA safety inspection, but will likely need to be replaced soon.
