You are right! The wait is worth it! Same old story...dealer called, was out of town...got in last night, stopped by dealership...and there she was!

It was around 8:30 and the dealer closed at 9...but they let me take it for a little spin...and WOW! Coming from a 6'3", 270#...this car fits great (albeit w/o my shoes on).

Plenty of room in the footwell (again, w/o my shoes). Fun FUN FUN!!! WOW...here are pics.

I'll pick it up tonight...had to coordinate friends to help drive my Magnum home...and me to drive the Sol home....

RadRiv (Still upset about not being one of the 1st1k'ers...but the bitterness is less now).

Enjoy!

Don't be upset about the F1K people - you are driving yours - most of us are not!

I guess, I'm less and less upset...especially since it will be clear and 70's all this weekend (Fri/Sat/and Sun).

My biggest problem now is figuring out the vanity plate!

I can't wait to get this baby in my hands again! If I had it today, I would have called in sick!

Picking it up at 4pm today...

I can't stop looking at it! Reminds me of my First car (1974 LeSabre, Luxus, 2Dr. Hardtop). No, not the look, but the feeling. Polishing it until the paint wears off...sort of feeling.

Removed (Shaved) the "pontiac" and "solstice" then cleaned with Isopropyl...then I used the Meguires Clay Bar to remove a "phantom" impression they left in the paint. You gotta love that clay bar. That is so awesome, I plan to use it on the Riviera when I have time.

Here are some pics...enjoy.
