I just spoke with the Country Inn & Suites and they have sold out on their block of rooms reserved for this event. They referred me to their "sister-hotel" the Holiday Inn & Suites. They have reserved a block of rooms for $129/night and have vacancies.

Hey there guys, I've been doing some ticket booking for Beckley and revisited my booking confirmation from the Hotel which I received back in September. It states I'm guaranteed for late arrival. I'm used to prepaying or putting down credit card details to guarantee a reservation but haven't done so in this case. They just took the reservation over the phone. Did any of you need to put down a payment method? Or am I good with just the reservation confirmation PDF and number. Hoping to meet you all soon. Thanks

Your question made me curious. If you go to https://www.radissonhotelsamericas.com/ and then click on "My Bookings" (upper right-hand corner), then follow your nose. First name, last name and reservation number the system should find your booking. Then scroll down to booking details...on mine anyway it says, "Payment and Guarantee Type" and then indicates "Credit Card".

So, the answer to one or your questions is "yes" I provided a payment method. As to your second question I'd guess that if your reservation is in the system you'd be okay...but being the paranoid type I am...I'd call and give them a number.

I have a reservation at the hotel that I booked on the phone, but the number I received from Country Inn and Suites via email doesn't work on the Radisson website. I called the hotel and confirmed that I had a reservation, and that's when they said that the number would be different on the website. I was told that if you contact the Radisson 800 number directly they can also confirm your reservation and give you the number that works on their website. So, if you have a reservation booked on the phone, your number may not work on the website but you should still be okay.

That is interesting, because I didn't get an email from the hotel after asking a couple of times. That's the reason I checked the Radisson website. So, I'll alter my answer above to officially say...I have no idea what's going on. Sorry about that!

I have reservations and confirmation # for my wife and I to attend this event. We were visitor/spectators last summer in Rapid City . I understand there are some cost/fees aside from the motel but do not know how to take care of these . Also need to learn how to sign up for daily events. Thanks for you help and hosting .

Thanks, I had come as far as the official website however for the life of me can't find the link for signing up for the runs! Maybe my eyes passed it by?

I wish I could be sure; I am a Road Captain so I never signed up for runs, I was assigned my runs. But I think that once you log in to the site (nassam2023.com) after registering there is a link at the bottom of the page for run sign up. Scroll all of the way to the bottom and there is a virtual button for Run Registration. That link takes you to Sign Up Genius. Sorry I can't be more helpful, but make sure you're logged in anyway. If you tried that...then I'm not entirely sure.

Found it. It's somewhat hidden! I registered on Jan 23 but didn't sign up for runs back then.

For those who also didn't find it, on the top grey bar click on the rightmost option -- "Login".

Then, when the Login page loads, there will be a blue "Run Registration" button near the bottom of the screen.

For a reservation at the Holiday Inn, do we phone the hotel directly, and give a reference code etc?

The block of rooms is filled at the Holiday Inn Express. Consequently, the regular room rates will apply, and you can book online or by calling. I checked the Holiday Inn Express and they still have rooms. But I didn't check the Microtel.

I've never been to one of there (duh, I have only had my Solstice for 10 months!). Anyway, do most people go for the full week? I am not sure I can burn a whole week of PTO for this as I do have other vacation plans coming soon. If I can only go for a few days, do any of you have recommendations for which days I should go? Let's say 3 days/4 nights.
