I've never been to one of there (duh, I have only had my Solstice for 10 months!). Anyway, do most people go for the full week? I am not sure I can burn a whole week of PTO for this as I do have other vacation plans coming soon. If I can only go for a few days, do any of you have recommendations for which days I should go? Let's say 3 days/4 nights.
Most people will go for the end of the week if they do not go for the entire week. The key is to look at the event schedule to see what you want to do. Car show, banquet, silent auction, and other event timing may dictate when you want to be there.

I have a reservation at the hotel that I booked on the phone, but the number I received from Country Inn and Suites via email doesn't work on the Radisson website. I called the hotel and confirmed that I had a reservation, and that's when they said that the number would be different on the website. I was told that if you contact the Radisson 800 number directly they can also confirm your reservation and give you the number that works on their website. So, if you have a reservation booked on the phone, your number may not work on the website but you should still be okay.
I had the same experience. Checked the Radison site, not found. Called the hotel, all is fine.

No card until arrival

Just scored the last room available at the Country Inn and Suites. Really makes everything fit together as I dreaded commuting from a different hotel to where the cars and people are at!

Hi John, I was looking at the WV meet information and I have two questions. Can I register up untill the meet and what are room raffle tickets?

The Microtel next door has just been remodeled, and you can walk from their parking lot to the Country Inn

I think I am correct in saying you can register at the door, but there will be no runs available and you will be limited to hotel activities unless you catch a ride with a solo driver. The winner of the room raffle gets his/her room paid for, provided it is in the host hotel, which is already full.

if you simply register at the last possible moment, you will most likely not receive any of the prepared materials
like name badge. Your ability to get a t-shirt will be greatly reduced as well.
Also - you might be out of luck for getting a seat at the banquet.
I just completed registration and lunch run sign up . FYI , almost all lunch runs are filled.
The reason I'm hesitant is pending another test I'm most likely getting a heart valve replacement in the next few months. If I register and find out the dates conflict can I get a refund?
I know it's only $90 but I'm a cheap sob
Silly question.. when registering for runs (I have signed up for two), are we supposed to sign up "per car" or "per individual"? I see some runs with folks with the same last name, and that leads me to think we should be signing up per individual, but per car makes more sense to me (but I have never been to one of these, so what do I know?).

I have only ever seen registration per car, but with both participants listed if there are two. This meet could be different, of course

no easy way... There is no real cross-reference between forum names and real-life names...
