...Ok, maybe I'm losing it. Has anyone already posted this? I thought that either brentil or mceb did a price check on the Miata MX-5, but the interesting thing was when I was at the Miata MX-5 page, I got a margin advertisement for.... THE SOLSTICE

I'm sure it was prolly reading cookies or something, but I thought that was funny.

Anyways:

the different trims that show up are:

2-door Convertible $21,995 P205/50R16 tires, std AC, no options

2-door 3rd GENERATION LIMITED Convertible $26,700, P205/45R17
Limited Availability No options.

2-door CLUB SPEC Convertible $20,995 No options.

2-door GRAND TOURING Convertible $24,995
$27,610 with sport suspension, premium pkg 2, run-flat
$28,210 with auto trans, premium pkg 2, run-flat

2-door SPORT Convertible
$23,495
$23,995 with Sport Suspension
$24,510 with optional run-flat tire added with sport suspension
$25,110 with 6 spd auto trans and run-flat tires

2-door TOURING Convertible $22,295; $24,095 with 6-spd Auto Trans

Just thought that was interesting.

Compared to Solstice, base price $19,995, but REALLY $20,995 comparable to Miata base car (add AC)

Fully loaded Solstice (manual trans only) is $25,000 (without On*). If you consider the future auto trans is prolly around $1200, it's still pretty loaded at around $26,200.
