That would be unfortunate if it slips, but I doubt it. Almost every report has stated a late 2005 launch as a 2006 model.

All other sources are indicating a 2005 launch. I bet they got it wrong. I sure hope so.

GM would start to look silly after all of the "quick development" articles if they take that long to get it on the streets.

I am actively looking for a new sports car at present. Seeing the Solstice [photos only] has caused great consternation on my part. I have heard any where form a first release in Fall 2004 to as late as 2006. Not sure if I am willing to wait. Problem is can not find a definitive answer. Someone has to know the plan.

I'm normally very impatient for stuff like this, but I have to admit if it ran behind one year that would be perfect for me. A summer- fall '06 release would allow me to pay my current car off and get two summers out of all the mods I've just sunk into it.
