One of our customer's Solstice LS2 V8 conversion cars got dynoed on his way up to the KC meet in Texas and made 391 rwhp!!! Absolutely insane! Stock LS2 crate engine with Livernois CNC ported heads and stage 2 camshaft. We will post the dyno graph if we can get it from our customer.
The 391 HP was not compensated for sea level. It was dyno'd in Lubbock TX at 3245 ft altitude, 87 degrees and 50% humidity. When corrected to sea level, that equates to 453 RWHP, 420 ft lbs torque, which is about equal to 530 crank horsepower. It is basically the same engine setup that was featured in the April issue of GM High Tech Performance magazine. They ended up with about 520 crank horsepower. The only addition to my car is the UMI racing engine managemant system, programmable ECU and AFX wideband 02 sensor. This engine is very tame and totally streetable. If you want MORE streetable power, you can always add a supercharger for another 200 RWHP!!
The LS2 converted cars weigh in at 3050 lbs with 3/4 full tank of gas. 53/47 F/R weight distribution.
