Last weekend I installed this pillar pod, and thought I would share an idea I had for installing the tweeter behind the pillar. Instead of building up an enormous amount of black glue around the tweeter tabs (which would probably work just fine) I cut and sandwiched earplugs in between the pillar and the tweeter. Then I allowed the earplugs to soak up a small amount of super glue to harden them and lock them into place. Last I added just a bit of Permatex Black Silicone Adhesive around the earplugs and tabs to seal it all up! Hope this helps anyone planning on doing the same mod!

Ps. Love this DDM Pillar! If you plan on adding gauges this is the way to go!

I used a heat gun and melted the speaker tabs to conform to the pillar pod and applied a small amount of glue to hold them.
