I think all guys and gals that love cars like we park them so we can keep a watchful eye on them when we dine out.

It is normal for people obsessed like we are. My wife thinks "I'm not right"!

I don't have a window in my office but if I go to an office across the hall or upstairs I usually find myself looking out the window starring at my car.

1 - just looking at is one thing - and a natural one - we appreciate the styling or we probably wouldn't own one.

2 - wanting to have them parked where we can see them is that, but also a security issue - we want to be sure no one bothers the car or bangs it. None of that is obsessed to my way of thinking, it is just being a good caretaker for your possessions. I often do it for any of the old cars (don't bother for the modern minivan).

This is not something I do but I've heard some Kappa freaks purposely drive by reflective buildings just for the sheer joy of watching the reflection of their car for a few moments. Also making videos of their ride to watch in the middle of winter while their vehicles are parked. :cryin:

Every night when I put it in the garage, I turn to my Solstice and say, "Thanks for another great day." Sometimes when I am having a bad day at work, I go out in the parking lot, look at it, and say to myself, "That's why I am here." So, don't feel bad. I talk to my car. It answers by performing the way it does.

Chop - a good friend in high school thought so highly of his truck that he used to check himself out in storefronts driving by.

I've peeked out into the garage on occasion. I've never talked to it though. That's just messed up, om.

You all need to eat in better restaurants.

If you limit it to where you can get a seat to look at your car in a parking lot, you're pretty much limited to fast food and Applebee's.

I copy admiring the reflection of my "Sol heap" in building glass as I drive by it!

I remember first doing this when I was 17 years old and driving my 65 GTO past a glass reflection........42 yrs later i am still doing it!

When I am out with my wife, I always try to get the seat that looks out into the parking lot to keep an eye on it and often see people starring at it as they walk by. Let's face it, they are great looking cars.
