Newsday article about the power of the Apprentice. Interesting it also mentions they have 7116 Solstice orders beyond the first 1000 already booked.

References the Solstice:
PONTIAC SOLSTICE (Episode 12): GM might just get the boost it needs from the Soltice's well-received debut last month on the show. A brochure Team Magna's Kendra designed (she's now in the final two) made such an impression on execs that they decided to use it in their own marketing - and buyers were similarly enthusiastic. "The exclusive first 1,000 Solstices, which were numbered and came with a plaque of authenticity, were gone in 41 minutes," says Pontiac spokesman Jim Hopson. He says that in the 10 days after those sold, Pontiac took an additional 7,116 orders. "Keep in mind the market segment is only about 100,000 a year. Miata is the biggest name in that market and we sold 85 percent of what they sell in just those 10 days," he says.
Here's how much Trump reels in on these product placement deals...
Donald Trump's true talent may be in product, not building, placement. Selling space on NBC's "The Apprentice" has reportedly brought him more than $2 million per episode from some of the country's largest corporations. And no wonder.

With a devoted and largely affluent audience tuning in, and more assured airtime than a 30-second spot - which some analysts say is fast becoming a casualty of TiVo - it's a surefire way to reach consumers.

Wow. That sure adds up to a lot of waitlisted people sitting in the EOP...
:yesnod: We have fully officiated, through lengthy discourse on the topic, that the EOP represents that time frame from 2:00pm on 4/15/05 through 4/25/05.

If they all sold on average of $22,000 and they sold the 8116 Solsti that's $178,552,000.

Now they have to convert those orders into true sales.
