2007 GXP with BSR tune.
With this tune I top out at 23-24 PSI. Lately when I get around18 PSI she starts to stumble real bad, almost like I' m hitting the rev limiter but no codes so dosnt seem to be a misfire. Any ideas?
Running great other than that.

what RPM is it doing it at. I don't have a tune and just when 1st gear really seems like it's taking off, UGH, the rev limiter shuts it down. doesn't take but a couple seconds before I hit it and a another 1500 rpm would be great.

You were right on. One of my plugs was gaped way off. Re-gaped and now it spools right up to 23 PSI with no hint of a misfire.
Thanks again.
As a mater of fact, I've been chasing a misfire on # 3 cylinder for a year and never thought of checking the gap on that plug because I put those plugs in and I gaped them. How could they not be right --- right?
Tested everything else and never thought of going back to the plugs. :brentil:

As you probably know, that rev limiter is there for a reason. It sounds like it is doing it's job just fine. If you over ride the limiter it could ruin your day real fast.
With my tune it's not a matter of how high the rev limiter is set but rather how fast I spool up to it. At that point it's all about shifting at the right time.
The limiter has saved my butt quite a few times. ;)
