I think it would look pretty bad on a Solstice, which has a nice clean nose.

You might be able to tempt some of those Sky types, though. Their cars have a much more cluttered front appearance and they seem to be fine with things like fake air vents that don't go anywhere.....

I agree with wspohn, maybe on a sky. Not on a solstice, unless you went the 60's sol look.

Hmm, Google not working for you today, Rob?

It's a bar mounted on the car which in turn has car club and event badges mounted on it.

Only place I could see bar badges would be affixed to the honeycomb portion of the front grills, but no more than two inches large and no more than 3 badges. Think badges would add subtly foreign and classic cue

Well they managed to put one on the Bug-Eyed Sprite, which our car resembles. Of course, it did have a real bumper.... Aside: Have you notice the price on a nice Bug Eye these days. Jeez!!

We had one doofus in the MG club that complained about over heating. We told him to remove all the useless garbage he had stuck on the badge bar and see what happened. No more overheating.

It looked like Dave's picture but worse and had a grille that was about 1/3 the size in the picture, so no rocket scientist needed to figure out what was happening.

I guess badge bars are in one way better than putting bumper stickers on the car - you can remove them easily and they won't cause contrast when the paint around them fades and lightens. Otherwise I can't really see why people would want to turn their cars into roving Christmas trees, but then there are a lot of things people do to their cars that tend to perplex me.....

The dealer I bought my coupe from stuck a dealer sticker on my Solstice without asking. I told them the car wasn't leaving until they'd removed it. They said it would be easy to remove. I said written guarantee that they'd repaint if that turned out to be untrue, or they had to remove it right there. They removed it. No idea what anyone would want to be a free billboard for a dealer, either. Guess I'm just a curmudgeon!

Most dealers use vinyl stickers these days. They are easily removed if done within a few days after application. I've removed several.

As far as Sol vs Sky front fascia...beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Sol reminds me of this:

Spoken like a Sky owner.

My stepdad had one of those little gutless wonders - powder blue as I recall. I always wondered why those two little air inlets up front, since the engine was in the rear and air cooled . . . ?

I've remove dealer vinyl stickers several years after they were put on, and a little bit of heat softens that vinyl very nicely.
