Returning the car to stock. All pipes are in excellent condition. Black finish gives stock look and match to the engine cover. Located in Santa Clara, CA
Do these ICP fit the stock intercooler? And did you have any issues with either the ICPs or CAI? If not I'm very interested for my Sky. Email me [email protected]
Can't tell from the pics...does the CAI replace the snorkel piece coming off the turbo? The little nipple is broke on mine (as has happened to many others) and it's time to replace it. Would like a CAI with a metal fitting there.
It does replace the plastic duct and has a metal nipple. When I returned it to stock, the plastic duct that the po included had the nipple broken off. Replacement ducts are $94. -_-
Just an FYI to any disconnecting that hose: it's real simple and can be done with one finger!! Don't break it off. lol
I've had mine for years now and have had no problems so far. But not too sure about the price on these. I guess since they are painted they should cost more? But paint kinda reduces the whole cold air intake deal? Unless the paint reduces heat? OP. Can you help me out here?
if this IC piping set fits a stock intercooler, and you can do $200 shipped, paid via paypal ( i will take care of the paypal fees) then ill take those. Am near Sacramento, so shipping will be cheap. thanks,Vincent
