Lol, that's awesomeFortyninenorth said:I just received an email from GM Canada. We will only be receiving 1000 cars for the 2006 MODEL YEAR. So everyone here who gets an '06 Solstice will be getting a "FIrst 1k" car.
At this rate I may not have to store my car this winter. It might arrive just in time for Spring.

No joy rides eh Mike. The less k's the better. Can we not drive them over ourselves to the dealer for the paper work to be completed??? :willy: Is there any way to track where they are on the train ride? So we might be abe to get a rough idea when they might be hitting the Alberta border etc? :leaving:Pontiac MGR said:Our vehicles are always trucked to the dealership. I suspect (just a hunch) that these may get delivered to the zone office though, in which case they would have to be driven over to the dealership (it is about a 5 minute drive). If so, I'm going to drive them over myself.
There deffinatly is tracking. I'm just not sure if dealers can access that.Pontiac MGR said:Don't worry, no joy rides. I just don't trust anyone else (what is the old saying ... if you want something done right then ....) I think it is about 10-12 km from the zone office to our store. The nearest we can determine is that they are on their way to Ohio after which they will enter into Canada through Ontario and them sent west to us. Unfortunately we don't have any real time tracking that I am aware of.
