I put these on while I was at the 2013 Nationals in Flagstaff ... I was planning on replacing the Bridgestone RE760 Sports when I made it back to Baton Rouge ... but after we ran some serious twisties on the way to Flagstaff I found I had a nail in the left front tire and a seriously bad right front (belt was showing on the inside of tire) ... this was in Show Low, AZ ... I made a very scary (for me) drive to Flagstaff and went directly to Discount Tire and had the new tires installed .... huge difference in handling .. noise and ride comfort ... I have put +/- 1,900 miles on the tires so far and love them ... been through a few gulley washers here in Baton Rouge and it handled the wet very well .. installed stock size .. 245/45/18 ... had the 255's on but wanted to see how the stock would handle with the v8 ... not too shabby  ... of course if I hit it hard all you see is smoke  .. I will be installing new shocks all around and brake pads this coming Monday .. the shocks are a replacement for the Koni Sports
I had on there .. per recommendation of Dr. Dave

I put the same Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires on my '07 NA last summer, also at Discount Tire. I have been very pleased with their wet and dry performance.

However, I do change to winter tires / wheels once the snow starts falling.

Wet?

Snow???????????????????

I have the same tire and really like them. Well, I really like them once I got 50 miles on them. The first 2 miles were . . . exciting . .. to say the least. Now that they are scuffed up they are very stickey.

At least on dry pavement. We dont get our feet wet LOLOLOLOLL:devil:

There are four of us from the MKC group that have installed the Conti DWS tires. We are all very pleased with their performance.

We are looking at the Conti DWS for our Solstice. My wife drives 80 miles to work each day, 160 miles round trip. We need something really good in the rain and something with (relatively) long tread life. Our local Discount Tire recommended the Conti DWS or the Yokohama YK580. I think there is a $1 price difference between the two.
