Ok so I ordered my solstice over the weekend and expect it by spring. I kow there is a solstice catalog with some cool things in it. I ordered floormats with my sol and I thought it be cool if the mats at the solstice word stiched in. Anyways with x-mas coming soon I was wondering is there anything cool to get for the ride? I know the aftermarket is going to be big but with it being so new I don't expect much yet. I guess what Im saying is, is there anything cool to get so I can maybe ask for something for x-mas and put it on when I take delivery of it?

That depends on what you are looking for. I have the neoprene jacket from solsticestuff.com, and it's pretty nice. If you're looking for good stuff for your car, look at Kappashpere (do a search, and you'll find my reviews of everything they brought to the west coast meet). There's always the diecast models. The Yat Ming one seems to be higher quality.

Alright, where do we begin.............

First, get one of everything from this website:

Then, maybe one of everything from this website when they become available:

Then, a cool 6" stubby antenna from:

Then, some cool tail lights from:

Then, in the garage......

no no no... NO NO

i can not stress this enough... NO... don't get those lights, they are no where near as bright as you think. If you want to do an LED Retrofit for your tail lights PM me and I will help you with the circuitry.

I dunno... I've seen the 5-point ones, and they were bright enough to me.

Not sure about the 3-point.

i've seen them as well in a light assy. at a tuner show... they look great there... but when you actually get it to put in YOUR assy., it looks completely diffrent. They do not use proper MCD LED's in them, just like when you goto Pepboys and buy an LED tail replacement... they are a joke. That is why they say on the package "for off-road use only". they are not DOT approved because they do not illuminate enough.

If you were to do your own, I've used 40k MCD LED's which are excellent... but most people use a load off Lumileds which are 3k MCD (but once you get a large cluster of them togeather, they look great)

The sport exhaust looks cool, the only problem is that the solstice is a 4 cycl car. I never liked aftermarket exhaust on 4 cycl cause they sound like riced out hondas! Wonder how this one is?
