Hi all
I am trying to figure out when the fan start to work. I do not see any consistency... sometimes when idling it will start to work even with low temperature, and while driving It start only at ~206F.

Can someone please explain what is the fan algorithm ?
I own a 2008 2.4 auto Solstice with Hahn stage 2. I guess the trifecta tune I have changes the fan settings but I am interested in the default values of a 2.4 solstice.

It will turn on when you have the A/C on.

If A/C is off, it will turn on when the coolant reaches a set temp. GXP (not NA) will increase fan speed as/if temps climb above the turn-on temp.

Just wait until its really hot and you turn your car off in your garage and the fan turns back on in an attempt to cool the car off and completely freaks you out.
