Of course it might be another 5 years before aftermarket versions become available, or it could be impossible to retrofit them to our cars.

NHTSA has just approved Gentex Hybrid Full Display Mirror for the new Cadillac CT6 & Chevy Bolt. Unobstructed rear view with no rear seat or C pillars to obstruct the rear view anymore.

Sure would be nice in the coupe. Actually nice for all vehicles.

Seems like a good idea, but my back up cameras are dirty or wet half the time and are then blurry.

Rearview visibility

Tadi Brothers has a very nice system where their 7" or 9" mirror attaches to your existing rear-view mirror. Its a wireless system that can be used for both seeing behind you when backing up, or seeing behind you while you are driving. Lord knows rear view visibility is an issue with both the Solstice and Sky. I just ordered the system and can't wait to install it and see if its as good as they said. So far, their support personnel is very helpful. I contacted them to ask several questions before I ordered, and got good info. back.
